Conditions for Refund
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Initiating a Return/Refund: You must notify us within 7 days of delivery through your Kitabay dashboard, our Instagram page “Booksreader.store”, or via email at storebookreader@gmail.com , mentioning the reason for return. Upon review, the refund amount will be processed, deducting to-and-fro shipment, packaging, and service charges, estimated at 60% of the order amount.
- Full Refund: A full refund is available if the cancellation request is made before the order is dispatched from the Kitabay warehouse. If the order has already been dispatched, you can still request a cancellation upon successful delivery, where to-and-fro shipment, packaging, and service charges estimated at 60% of the order amount will be deducted from the refundable amount.
- Mystery Box Returns: For the “Mystery Box” product, a return request means returning the entire box with all its contents. Individual items/books within the Mystery Box cannot be canceled, replaced, or returned separately. For a return/refund of the “Mystery Box,” notify us within 7 days of delivery through your Kitabay dashboard, our Instagram page “Booksreader.store”, or via email at storebookreader@gmail.com, mentioning the reason for return. Upon review, the refund amount will be processed, deducting to-and-fro shipment, packaging, and service charges estimated at 60% of the order amount.
Additional Information
- Processing Time: Refund processing and crediting may take 7-10 days.
- Return Address: Our return address will be listed on the billing invoice and on the Contact Us page.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
- Refund Limits: Refunds will not exceed the actual value of the goods.
- Non-refundable Charges: Custom duties, taxes, and COD charges, if applicable or paid at the time of receiving the goods, will not be refunded.
No Refunds Will Be Issued for the Following Cases:
- Incorrect or outdated delivery address, including any form of a PO Box address.
- After three failed delivery attempts by our courier agencies.
- Package refused by the recipient.
- Products returned in a damaged condition.
- Missing contents from the returned product.
